According to the report of the foreign news agency, the selection committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is introducing a review clause in six months to monitor the performance of the players and evaluate the progress of the contracted players.

The BCB chairman said in an interview given to Cricket Web that approval will be taken in the board meeting regarding the clause of review in six months, we will review the cricketers with central contracts every six months so that the players Value the main contract and not the breach.

Naha said that the board has not yet decided whether we will terminate the contract if anyone is found to be underperforming. Still, this step has been taken to create a competitive environment among the cricketers.

On the other hand, BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin added that the introduction of the review clause does not mean that the duration of the national contract will be less than one year.

He added that (the review after every six months) will ensure that no one's team place is permanent, and performance will have to be given but it does not mean that the central contract list changes every six months will be done.
